Contrasting apatite geochemistry between ore-bearing and ore-barren intrusions of the giant Kalmakyr gold-rich porphyry Cu deposit, Tien Shan, Uzbekistan

چکیده
The Kalmakyr deposit in Uzbekistan is one of the world’s largest gold-rich porphyry Cu deposits, and mineralization was proposed to be closely associated with emplacement latest intrusive phases, that is, granodiorite porphyry. However, it still unclear which features these ore-bearing intrusions are crucial for enormous metal enrichment how they correlate magmatic fertility. In this study, we address questions by comparing petrological situ major trace element geochemistry apatite ore-barren intrusions. Magmatic from has higher Eu/Eu* (0.50–0.58), Sr/Y (1.09–1.64), La/Yb (36.19–53.42) ratios than quartz (0.01–0.02, 0.02–0.03, 2.01–3.75, respectively) monzonite (0.20–0.11, 0.36–1.12, 19.71–56.32, respectively). Moreover, granodioritic magma S (average 111 ppm) Cl 8602 contents (S average 9 ppm; 2652 8483 ppm). These collectively suggest relatively high oxygen fugacity, H 2 O, Cl, compared those By our data published dataset Cu–Mo Mo-only deposits world, content low F/Cl ratio might an important indicator prospect deposits.

متن کاملOre mineralogy and fluid inclusions constraints on genesis of the Muteh gold deposit (western Iran)
The Muteh gold deposit (NE of Golpaygan) in the central part of intrusive-metamorphic belt of Sanandaj-Sirjan zone comprises NW-SE trending gold-quartz vein occurred in metamorphic complex. Gold mineralization is associated with quartz veins that formed during regional deformation across the mylonitic zones in metamorphic rocks of predominantly meta-volcanic, gneiss and schist. The sulfidation ...
متن کاملOre Deposit Types and Their Primary Expressions
Metals are largely derived from the mantle or crust by partial melting and fluid-related leaching. Ligands can be provided from the same sources, or from the atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere. Transport is mainly by mechanical or mass transfer mechanisms and by fluids. On and near the surface, biological processes can also concentrate and transport ore components or remove non-ore component...
متن کاملMineralogy, geochemistry and genesis of Temelieh Manganese ore Deposit (NorthWest of Selseleh, Lorestan Province)
Temelieh area is located about 20 Km northwest of Selseleh (Lorestan Province). Geologically, the area is a small part of the Harsin radiolarite complex. Petrography consists of radiolarite, peridotite, gabbro, plate dikes, basalt and andesite, limestone, and marble. Manganese mineralization occurs as vein-veinlet and is mainly formed in faults, joints, and fractures that crosscut in radiolarit...
متن کاملThe Application of Artificial Neural Networks to Ore Reserve Estimation at Choghart Iron Ore Deposit
Geo-statistical methods for reserve estimation are difficult to use when stationary conditions are not satisfied. Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) provide an alternative to geo-statistical techniques while considerably reducing the processing time required for development and application. In this paper the ANNs was applied to the Choghart iron ore deposit in Yazd province of Iran. Initially, a...
